The Electronic Allergo Sensitivity Test is based upon the clinical observation that the human body loses energy (i.e., the normal electrical flow is interrupted) when it is exposed to a substance to which the body is sensitive or allergic. The energy loss is rapid and measured in microvoltage. ELAST can now measure the decrease in the body's electrical potential in real time when a patient is exposed to a potential allergen.
